Check for divisibility: For each number in your list, check if it is divisible by any number other than 1 and itself. For example, you can start with the numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 etc. In other words, 300 can be divided by 1, by itself and at least by 2, 3 and 5. The number 300 is not a prime number because it is possible to express it as a product of prime factors.
